COMO Shambhala Estate is a residential health retreat combining holistic wellness with state-of-the-art facilities and exceptional villa accommodation. Specialists in Yoga, Pilates and Tai’Chi provide inspiration and nurture, working in harmony with guides for mountain biking, hiking, climbing, rowing, whitewater rafting and outdoor circuit training. Asian therapies and healthful cuisine form part of dynamic packages created according to personal requirements.

The Estate features 30 rooms and suites comprising 5 Residences, 4 Private Villas, 5 Retreat Villas. Each accommodation has king and queen beds, air conditioning, direct dial telephone, wired or wireless high speed Internet access, satellite TV, CD and DVD player, Electronic safe, Private bar, Yoga mat, COMO Shambhala bathroom amenities, Hairdryer, Complimentary tea/coffee making facilities.

A personal assistant assigned to each room.

The following wellbeing facilities are located at Ojas (Sanskrit for ‘Essence of Life’), the main treatment area. A well equipped gym is located adjacent to Kudus House. There is also a climbing wall located behind Bayugita Residence. All health facilities draw water from ‘The Source,’ a spring locally revered for its healing properties

More than 20 Asian-inspired and Western holistic treatments, developed by COMO Shambhala; expert consultants and therapists with more than eight specializations, including Ayurveda, reflexology, Yoga, Pilates and nutrition. Programmes run for three, five or seven nights, and include Bespoke, Cleansing, Get Fit, Ayurvedic, Rejuvenation and Stress Management. Programmes generally include an arrival wellness consultation, prescribed treatments, daily breakfast, lunch and dinner and participation in a daily Activities Schedule. Retreat Programmes are specialist weeks led by visiting Masters focusing on specific subjects such as Yoga or Pilates.

  The activities were great, we took pilates and yoga and cycling (which is very advanced, don't get fooled by "level 1" mark if you're not that fit, but if you are, don't miss it: it's a great exercise, many steep paths, beautiful nature and many things to see).

The location is unique, a spiritual enclave of jungle, river and sun-rich clearings just north of Ubud. Most significantly the Estate is a place of beauty where silence reigns, where guests find the energy to make informed life changes that will last beyond their stay.

The Estate is a 15-minute drive from Ubud, and a one-hour drive from Denpasar, Bali’s international airport with direct flights to Singapore, Hong Kong, London, Bangkok, Sydney as well as internal flights in Indonesia
