Similar situation to previous reviewer - paid upfront for a 2-night voucher and now unable to redeem or get a refund.
Having read the first review, however, it doesn't sound like it would have been worth the effort of finding babysitters for the weekend away.

I purchased a 3 day spa retreat voucher for my wife's 40th birthday last year. Unfortunately the company seems to have gone bust before she could use it, and the founder Grant Hilton has gone to ground (even removing his facebook account).
If you still find sites selling packages at this 'resort' DO NOT DO IT!!!!
Grant Hilton is just a fraudster!

I was very disappointed with the accommodation provided at Universal Peace Retreat. I was looking forward to a luxury 5 star room as stated in their advertising only to find a very small room with only a double sized bed not queen bed in one corner, a glass shower in the other corner with a small basin and a closed in toilet in the other corner. No refrigerator, no kettle, no glasses, no cups. No shampoo, conditioner or other niceties as you would receive in a hotel. Just one small cake of soap that had to share between the shower and the basin. Only one bright light, no bedside lamps, no robes, no mats, no night-time outside lighting. We came back to the room quite late and it was pitch dark and we had to stumble over rocky paths to get to our room. Then during the night someone stole our umbrella which we left just outside our door so it wouldn't drip water all over the floor. The spas and surroundings looked nice so maybe a day trip there but definitely not overnight as the accommodation is sub-standard and something I would expect from a 2 star hotel!!
